Trailer For Absolutely Anything Released

British sci-fi comedy is Robin Williams’ last filmed role.

What would you do if you woke up one morning and found that you had ultimate power. Not much probably, at least not on the first day. Breakfast can make itself.

Some of the greats of comedy are coming together to save the world in a new British science fiction comedy Absolutely Anything. The people from Monty Pyhthon and Absolutely Fabulous are support players in Absolutely Anything, which stars Simon Pegg, as Neil Clarke, a teacher who is given the ability to grant himself anything he wants.

Absolutely Anythingwas directed by Monty Python alum Terry Jones, and stars the troupe’s John Cleese, Eric Idle, Michael Palin, Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam as alien overlords who give a regular, British earthling ultimate powers and the choice between good and bad. If he uses his powers for evil, Earth will be destroyed. If he chooses nothing, it makes 

The movie also marks the final screen appearance of comedian Robin Williams, who died in 2014. He plays the voice of a biscuit-craving, leg-humping talking dog.

Kate Beckinsale plays Pegg’s love interest. It co-stars Joanna Lumley, Rob Riggle and Eddie Izzard.

Terry Jone co-wrote the screenplay with Gavin Scott. It was inspired by H.G. Wells’ comic short story  "The Man Who Could Work Miracles" in which George McWhirter Fortheringay get the ability to grant miracles while drinking in a pub.

Absolutely Anything will be released in the UK on August 14, 2015. No U.S. release date has been set.
