One of the best werewolf movies, Dog Soldiers, is getting the full treatment for Blu-ray.
If you haven't seen Dog Soldiers, you really should. It's one of our 13 must-see werewolf movies. It's directed by Neil Marshall, who also brought us the extra-creepy The Descent. It's also a tense, surprisingly funny (at moments) twist on the genre.
Basically, Dog Soldiers is a Night of the Living Dead style “stay in the cabin while the monsters swarm outside” piece of horror. But with werewolves. And soldiers. And some genuinely cringe-inducing bits of gore. And Sean Pertwee. It's great.
Scream Factory are giving Dog Soldiers the full treatment, and that's long overdue.
