James McAvoy's locks are gone, as his Professor X moves a step closer to the look of Patrick Stewart...
NewsFilming is underway now on Bryan Singer's follow-up to X-Men: Days Of Future Past, X-Men: Apocalypse. This is the film that's going to complete the story arc that began with X-Men: First Class, which first introduced James McAvoy as a young Professor X.
The character was played by Patrick Stewart in the initial run of X-Men films of course, and Stewart took on the role again in last year's Days Of Future Past. He's also rumored to be returning for the next Wolverine film as well.
However,X-Men: Apocalypse will see McAvoy's take on Professor X on center stage, and he's going to take a signficant leap closer - visually - to Stewart's look. And that's because it's time for James McAvoy to lose his hair.
In his latest snap from the set, Bryan Singer has confirmed that McAvoy's mop is being chopped for this one, thanks to the following picture...

That's a barber with a very concetrated look on his face, we should point out.
X-Men: Apocalypse is set to arrive in cinemas on May 27th 2016. And Singer's very active Instagram account can be found here.
