NewsIt's been a bumpy road to production for the planned reboot/remake/whatever we're calling it of The Crow. However, with Boardwalk Empire's Jack Huston now locked in the title role, and Corin Hardy set to direct, it looks like it's finally all systems go on the new film.
The latest piece of casting news is that Andrea Riseborough is signing up to play the movie's villain. She's taking on the role of Top Dollar in the movie. Previously Top Dollar has been male, and was played by Michael Wincott in the original film. The character was beefed up for that 1994 movie too, becoming the chief of a drugs syndicate, as opposed to a low level drug dealer as he was in the comics.
Cliff Dorfman has penned the screenplay for the new The Crow, which we'd imagine is going to finally get before the cameras this year.
