Jesse Eisenberg stars as a stoner sleeper agent in the action comedy American Ultra!
TrailerBefore Jesse Eisenberg goes bald as Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, he’ll be sporting a hippie’s mane in the action comedy American Ultra.
Esienberg stars as Mike Howell, a rambling stoner with no other goals besides proposing to his equally burnt-out girlfriend Phoebe, played by Kristen Stewart. This is the second time the two have played love intrests, after honing their chemistry in 2009’s Adventureland.
Mike is awoken from his sleepy haze when its revealed that he’s actually a sleeper agent possessing incredible secret agent skills. Mike will have to put down a joint long enough to avoid being taken out by a mysterious organization led by Topher Grace.
The red-band trailer features some great laughs and other funny appearances by Connie Britton and John Leguizamo. American Ultra is written by Max Landis (Chronicle) and directed by Nima Nourizadeh (Project X). You can check out the NSWF trailer below.
