Here's what he told everyone via his Facebook page:
So the studio apparently is so excited by the Last Witch Hunter - The Axe and Cross franchise... that they are already commencing on the next one. The first one doesn't hit theaters until October 23rd, yet they want me to commit and already block out time to film it. As always, I love to hear your feedback...
The studio in question is Lionsgate, who aren't shy about going after genre material like The Last Witch Hunter.
Meanwhile, the first and (for now, only) The Last Witch Hunterarrives in theaters on October 23rd. The film is directed by Breck Eisner and stars Vin Diesel, Michael Caine, Elijah Wood, and Rose Leslie.
