It's quite likely you've already heard of All You Need Is Kill, the forthcoming sci-fi thriller directed by Doug Liman and starring Tom Cruise. Based on a Japanese novel of the same name, it's a Groundhog Day-like story about a soldier killed in battle, and then reliving the same event time and again, and getting a bit better at defeating his enemies each time.
Ahead of what we understand will be a debut footage preview at this weekend's San Diego Comic Con, the movie's had an abrupt name change. It's now called Edge Of Tomorrow, a more generically dramatic title than the quirky, memorably awkward Japanese original. To underline all these facts, there's a new poster, which reminds us of the cover for Fallout 3 for some reason. At any rate, we're sure to hear more about Edge Of Tomorrow very soon. And with a great cast - Emily Blunt and Bill Paxton star alongside Cruise - and the director of The Bourne Identity behind the camera, we're rather looking forward to it.
Edge Of Tomorrow is out on the 30th May 2014. Until then, here's that poster:

Looks nice--but I hope some don't confuse it with a new CALL OF DUTY game.
Not too keen on the title change, since I love the original novel, but hell, that's how things go in Hollywood. Still looking forward to the film next year, since Cruise--at least, in my view--does pretty well in SF (MINORITY REPORT, WAR OF THE WORLDS). Haven't seen OBLIVION yet, though.
