Batman and Superman will come together on the big screen in 2015. So what else do we know about the Man Of Steel follow-up?

Since Warner Bros pulled off its heist of Comic-Con last Saturday, by announcing that Batman and Superman were set to come together in the same live action movie, it feels as if a special Internet special meltdown code had been entered.

What was confirmed, as you probably know, was that the Man Of Steel sequel is due in 2015, with Henry Cavill reprising the role of Clark Kent/Superman. Furthermore, Batman is set to be a good part of the movie, which will be directed by Zack Snyder. Snyder is working on the story with David S Goyer, who will be penning the screenplay. No pressure there, then.

A few little bits and bobs have popped up since Saturday, so here's a quick round up.

Firstly, indicators seem to be pointing towards the name Batman Vs Superman for the movie. We can't imagine the movie will pitch the pair being best mates for two hours, so this would make some sense. Furthermore, David S Goyer revealed that there were only two working title - Batman Vs Superman or Superman Vs Batman. The folks at Comicbook.com then did further digging, and discovered that while Warner Bros owns lots of domains linking the characters, it only owns BatmanVsSupermanMovie.com, and not SupermanVsBatmanMovie.com (although we suspect it could get the latter if it wanted). That does point to Batman Vs Superman being the eventual title.

Secondly, the official logo for the movie was put up on the screen at Comic-Con, but has now appeared online properly. Here it is...

With regards the casting for the movie, whilst we don't know who the new Batman is (and won't for a while), a good chunk of the Man Of Steel cast are now confirmed to be returning. Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane are all set to reprise their roles. Will any of the Dark Knight trilogy cast make their way across? We very much doubt it. All talk suggests that the Batman side of things will be all new.

Furthermore, the broad hints thus far suggest that Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns is set to be a foundation for the movie. Batman and Superman do not get on in that.

Finally, whilst it's already known that Christopher Nolan is taking a back seat on the new movie, moving to an executive producer role, his brother looks set to have no involvement in it at all. Jonathan Nolan, one of the writers on the Dark Knight trilogy, has confirmed to Zap2It that he's not going to be involved.

More news on the movie as we hear it...
