First Riddick TV Spot Here
In the first official TV spot for the Vin Diesel threequel, Riddick, things get, well, dark.
Yes, it appears to be a return to the horror vibe and undertones of the original Pitch Black film for this sci-fi storyline, with Diesel even saying his famous catchphrase, “You’re not afraid of the dark, are you?”
Riddick looks to offer what fans wanted in the last outing, which is a sci-fi thriller that features a survivalist story instead of a grand space opera epic. It remains to be seen whether this one will perfectly deliver on hopes and dreams, but if Diesel’s successful revjuveniation of the Fast and the Furious franchise is any indication, things should go well for the action icon.
Riddick turns out the lights on September 6.
