Get ready for practically daily doses of Guardians of the Galaxy between now and August 1st...
We are now less than two months away from the premiere of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. This inevitably means that we're going to feel like we've seen the entire movie via various trailers and TV spots between now and then (fun fact: we won't...stop overreacting). But now there's a longer TV spot with a little new footage to show off. And yes, it's still got "Hooked on a Feeling." Personally, I'm hoping for more "Spirit in the Sky" in future clips. Anyway...

Meanwhile, Lee Pace, who plays Ronan the Accuser in Guardians of the Galaxy has been chatting a little about his character's darker nature. "He believes that strength is virtue and weakness is sin and that’s what he lives by," he told Yahoo! Movies, "He’s very scary because of that.”
As for whether or not there are any shades of gray in Ronan's character, well...don't get your hopes up.
At first when I started working on him, I was thinking, “We’ve seen so many great performances of villains by very talented actors in superhero movies. I’ve got to find something relatable about this guy.” But the more I played him, the more fun I had with just being evil. [Laughs] Evil, evil, evil. He’s an alien – there’s no kind of human rules. There’s nothing to relate to, actually. It just became, like, the more dark I could conceive of him, the more I understood him.
Guardians of the Galaxy opens on August 1st.
