Harrison Ford has sustained a minor injury on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII.
"I have a bad feeling about this." Harrison Ford injured his ankle on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII today. Fortunately, it doesn't sound serious.
Disney issued a brief statement:
"Harrison Ford sustained an ankle injury during filming today on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII. He was taken to a local hospital and is receiving care. Shooting will continue as planned while he recuperates."
The Hollywood Reporter indicates that he was injured by the door of the Millenium Falcon. We assume this means the ramp. So, y'know, "What a piece of junk."
All joking aside, we wish Mr. Ford a speedy recovery.
Early reports have speculated that Han Solo has a major role to fulfill in Star Wars: Episode VII, but this sound more like a painful inconvenience than anything else. Star Wars: Episode VIIremains on track for its December 18th, 2015 release date.
