He's Birdman. Or, he was Birdman. Now he's trying to kick his career into a new gear in a Broadway show. That seems to be the story of Birdman or The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance, starring Michael Keaton as a faded superhero movie actor looking to escape his caped past.
So, setting aside the obvious parallels between this and Keaton's own caped and cowled past, Birdmanlooks like a disturbingly good time, with some unexpected bits of blockbuster-esque CGI, and hey...even a fight scene! Watch the teaser here:

Birdmanis directed by Alejandro G. Iñárritu and also stars Naomi Watts, Edward Norton, Zach Galifianakis, and Emma Stone. Expect it to swoop into theaters some time this fall.
