In a new clip from Warner Bros. Animation's Batman: Assault On Arkham, viewers see what happens when the Riddler gets a phone call.
For all the running jokes about the revolving door at Arkham Asylum, the “Arkham Universe,” which was spawned from Rocksteady’s addictively great Batman games is a new level of incompetency. But it makes for great entertainment!
Thus enter Warner Bros. Animation’s newest film that takes viewers squarely inside that world where the Joker gets up to shenanigans behind locked doors, and it is up for the Suicide Squad and the Batman to take him down…assuming of course that the Batman can be trusted.
Because in the newest clip from the movie—the film’s first scene—we watch Amanda Waller have a nice chat with the Riddler who is up to old tricks. It seems like standard protocol that even the proper channels can handle. Thus Batman’s apparent insistence on getting involved makes it all the more strange. But don’t take our word for it, see for yourself!
Batman: Assault on Arkham will be released on DVD, Digital HD and Blu-ray on July 29, 2014.
