The world will finally get to know the superhero buddy comic Archer & Armstrong on the big screen.
Finally, we're going to get our very first superhero buddy movie. No, internet, Tony Stark and Bruce Banner don't count. Valiant have announced that they are bringing Archer & Armstrong to the big screen. BenDavid Grabinski is writing the Archer & Armstrong screenplay and Sean Daniel, Jason Brown, and Dinesh Shamdasani will produce.
Archer & Armstrong is an ongoing series about a drunken, disillusioned immortal and his adventures with an idealistic (which is putting it mildly) young man. The characters have been around since the early '90s, but the current incarnation of the series from the resurgent Valiant Entertainment is really quite fun, and is written by Fred Van Lente. Shadowman, Bloodshot, and Archer & Armstrong are just the beginning."
Does this mean we'll get a Valiant Cinematic Universe, too? After all, if you're gonna have Aram Anni-Pada, how far behind can Gilad Anni-Pada be? Yes, yes...we know. One thing at a time.
