We have the official trailer for the Pierce Brosnan spy thriller The November Man.
Pierce Brosnan couldn't stay out of the spy game for too long. Just when you think you're out, they drag you back in! The actor and ex-James Bond star is making his return to the world of espionage in the upcoming feature The November Man, and we have the first look at the trailer.
The November Man is adapted from a novel in Bill Granger's November Man series, There Are No Spies. The film centers on Peter Devereaux, code name "The November Man," an extremely skilled ex-CIA agent who comes out of a peaceful retirement to protect a witness who holds answers to a decades-old conspiracy. Things get messy when Devereaux is pursued by his former friend and CIA protégé. The film is directed by Roger Donaldson (The Bank Job) working from an adapted screenplay by Michael Finch and Karl Gajdusek. The film also stars Luke Bracey (G.I. Joe: Retaliation) and Olga Kurylenko (Oblivion). Oddly enough, Kurylenko and Brosnan have a common connection, having both appeared in Bond films, with Kurylenko appearing in Quantum of Solace.
The trailer is a delight, if only to see Brosnan back in ass kicking mode. This could spark a career resurgence, a la Liam Neeson in Taken. You can check out the trailer by heading over to Apple or just watch below. The November Man hits theaters August 27.
