Quentin Tarantino's almost-abandoned movie, The Hateful Eight, now has a poster.
What a whirlwind the whole saga of The Hateful Eight has been. First, Quentin Tarantino was making the post-Civil War movie...and then he wasn't. Something about a script leak and generally feeling betrayed by the whole process. But hark, Mr. Tarantino then decided that he is, indeed, going to make The Hateful Eight and that all is well!
We're on board with that.
And now, seemingly out of nowhere, comes the first blood-smeared poster for the film:
We even have an official synopsis for the film, which comes to us via Collider:
The Hateful Eight follows the steadily ratcheting tension that develops after a blizzard diverts a stagecoach from its route, and traps a pitiless and mistrustful group which includes a competing pair of bounty hunters, a renegade Confederate soldier, and a female prisoner in a saloon in the middle of nowhere.
The Hateful Eight stars Bruce Dern, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Madsen, Kurt Russell, Zoe Bell, and a host of other badasses. We'll see it in 2015.
