Watch the first TV spot for Christopher Nolan's mysterious space opera Interstellar, starring Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway.
It's hard to believe that we are near the liftoff for Christopher Nolan’s anticipated Interstellar, but the rising heat from the marketing campaign tells us that it must be so. With the movie just barely over two months away from release, Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros. have seen fit to treat us to our first TV spot from the film. While it shares much of the same footage and music from the Comic-Con trailer that went online at the end of last month, it is most certainly welcome with its new snippets of imagery and inspiration.
Interstellar is a mysterious adventure about a group of scientists and explorers who must go into space to save mankind’s destiny following a negative effect on Earth’s crops. It can sound a bit vague, but you can head over to our Interstellar: Everything We Know article for more details about this intentional mystery.
The movie is based on a script written by Jonathan Nolan (originally meant for Steven Spielberg to direct) and Christopher Nolan, and stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Wes Bentley, Topher Grace, John Lithgow, and Michael Caine.
Interstellar takes off November 7, 2014.
