Henry Cavill and Amy Adams dressed as Superman and Lois Lane take the ice bucket challenge on the Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice set.
With all this talk about Batman, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman appearing in a movie ostensibly titled Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, it’s easy to forget that the film also stars Amy Adams as Lois Lane, also known as the best part of Man of Steel.
Yet, in the latest video of a celebrity taking the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge for a good cause, we are reminded of exactly that. Sitting next to Henry Cavill dressed in his red and blue Superman Sunday best, Adams appears in her “Lois Lane: Ace Reporter” costume to introduce both actors as they prepare to take the Ice Bucket Challenge.
Below is the video of Superman and Lois facing a freeze as deep as an Arnold Schwarzenegger pun. Cavill even proves he really is the Man of Tomorrow by taking not one, not two, but SIX buckets of ice water in a row. He really is meant to inspire us!
It’s enough to make you wish that we actually got a full sequel about them like Man of Steel promised.
Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, picks up after the ending of 2013’s Man of Steel as Superman (Henry Cavill) deals with the aftermath of his battle with General Zod. Inevitably, his super-status places him on a collision course with the Dark Knight (Ben Affleck). The film also feature Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, and Diane Lane reprising their roles from the previous Superman movie. Jesse Eisenberg and Jeremy Irons have been cast as Lex Luthor and Alfred Pennyworth, respectively. Principal photography is already underway in Michigan Motion Picture Studios, as well as in Detroit.
