Check out a new picture of Jeremy Renner in Hawkeye garb with Joss Whedon on the set of Avengers: Age of Ultron.
In a world of espionage, superheroes, and giant land-conquering robots, having perfect aim is a necessity. And that appears to be exactly what Joss Whedon is conveying to Jeremy Renner on the set of Avengers: Age of Ultron.
The picture is part of Empire’s first tease for the upcoming October issue that will heavily feature coverage of the crossover sequel. Amongst the tidbits Whedon gave out is that Ultron will “have a touch of the apocalypse to him” and be somewhat noirish, as according to Whedon.
But of special interest is Whedon teasing the Hulkbuster armor.
Whedon said, “The Hulkbuster is from after my time [as a reader], but even I knew what a big deal it was. It makes sense because there's no one who can really go up against Hulk, but more importantly, those guys are best friends, so what that battle is and what it means is fascinating to me.”
Of course, the Hulk is not fully Banner, either way it will be a throwdown worth watching.
