Denzel Washington will reteam with Training Day and The Equalizer director Antoine Fuqua for The Magnificent Seven...
A week or so after a new director joined the planned remake of The Seven Samurai comes solid news about the new take on The Magnificent Seven. Er, you still following this?
Anyway, it had been revealed a while back that The Equalizer and Olympus Has Fallen director Antoine Fuqua was set to direct the new The Magnificent Seven. And now comes the confirmation that he's got one seventh of his key cast in place. Denzel Washington will unite with Fuqua once again (they also made Training Day together) for the film.
Jason Blumenthal is producing the film, and if all goes to plan, Fuqua and Washington will have the chance to reunite on The Equalizer 2 as well. More as we hear it...
