Winston Zeddemore himself updates everyone a little (but only a little) on the status of Ghostbusters 3.
It seems that nearly everyone has been reached for comment on Ghostbusters 3 lately, including the notoriously Ghostbusters 3-phobic Bill Murray. Now it's Ernie Hudson's turn.
In a lovely interview with Comic Book Resources, where he discsses some of his own experiences making the film, and just how impressive its lasting impact has been, he did mention that he's had some contact with Ivan Reitman about the possibility of Ghostbusters 3.
"It’s still on track, and I just saw Ivan about two weeks ago. And he says “on track,” but he didn’t say that with a lot of confidence, so I don’t know! [Laughs]. I’m like, “OK …” But I’d love to see that happen. Fans deserve it, and it would be great."
It's all hot and cold with this Ghostbusters 3 stuff, isn't it?
Go read the entire interview with Mr. Hudson over at Comic Book Resources. It's terrific.
