The Mistress of the Dark Elvira brings her midnight madness to Hulu.
Elvira, The Mistress of the Dark who got into show business because of Elvis Presley and wanted to base her sexy vampire character on Sharon Tate’s Fearless Vampire Killers role, is bringing her madness to Hulu in a new series.
Starting October 19, Cassandra Peterson, AKA Elvira, will host modern B-movie horror pictures in 13 Nights of Elvira. The series will stream exclusively on Hulu.
Elvira will introduce low-budget scarers like Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death, Evil Bong, Seed People and Shrunken Heads. 13 Nights of Elvira culminates on Halloween night when Elvira sinks her satiric teeth into the zombie classic, George A. Romero’s Night of the Living Dead.
But be warned, the movies will have pop-ups.
Cassandra Peterson retired her Elvira character from the convention circuit a few years ago, but she will transform the historic Knott’s Berry Farm theme park in Buena Park, California, into Knott’s Scary Farm.
