Big Hero 6 Debuted a new trailer, which is now online, and four new clips at New York Comic-Con. And we have it all right here.

Despite it only being the first day of New York Comic-Con, the Walt Disney Company has already made a massive, massive splash with the first panel of the day on the Main Stage. There was the world premiere for Tomorrowland first teaser, plus its extended five minutes of glorious footage, not to mention George Clooney’s surprise appearance where he apologized for Batman & Robin.

But Big Hero 6 also made waves when it kicked off the panel with four clips, a new trailer, and the entire cast, along with two directors and a producer, making an appearance.

Trickling out with just directors Don Hall and Chris Williams, as well as producer Roy Conli, the event soon also encompassed the visages of voice acting talents Jamie Chung, T.J. Miller, Genesis Rodriguez, Ryan Potter, and Scott Adsit.

While the event included four clips, which we will describe beat-by-beat below, it also included a sizzle reel trailer complete with a new exclusive Fall Out Boy song, which you can watch right now.

Director Hall also described in greater detail the first scene in the above trailer, which involves young boy genius Hiro Hamada in a battle robot event. This is because when Big Hero 6 starts, he is playing around in an “illegal back alley robot fights” ring. They apparently roll rough in the movie-specific San Fransokyo. Duncan Rouleau and Steven T. Seagle, the comic book creators of Big Hero 6, must be proud. Incidentally, they along with Joe Quesada were also in the audience for the panel.

As the video showcases, this also is very much a superhero movie. And we got to know who that team was in the other clips.

The first is of Hiro visiting his older brother at a university lab that he wants Hiro to start attending (as opposed to robot fighting). “Welcome to the nerd lab,” the tough-as-nails Go Go Tomago tells him. Clearly the “cool girl” character, Go Go is the “Clint Eastwood of the group,” according to her voice actor, Ms. Chung.

We also meet an OCD-precise Wasabi, who seems to be their tech guy. The clip also reveals that he is called “Wasabi” because he spilled the famed sauce on his shirt. “One time!” he insisted.

Then there’s Honey Lemon, voiced by Ms. Rodriguez, who is the cutely nerdy character that shows Hiro that she has developed a machine that makes a giant pink balloon that explodes like a grenade of fuchsia all over the lab.

Lastly, there’s Fred, Miller’s comic relief in the group. Fred wants Honey Lemon to turn him into a fire-breathing lizard (explaining his later costume), and he demands that Wasabi making him a shrink ray. Finally, Hiro’s older brother introduces him to Baymax, a “Healthcare Companion.”

The second clip is also Baymax heavy with images seen in the last trailer playing out in full-length. Tired for some mysterious reason, the deflated Baymax walks around Hiro’s home like a drunken sailor while the boy genius hides the haphazard robot from his mother. He blames all the sudden crashing noises on their kitten, or as Baymax later calls the pet in this clip, “a hairy baby.”

Adsit later explained to the Comic-Con crowd that he’s only ever been drunk once. So, to play the scene, he turned to Genesis Rodriguez, who he jokingly said that every time he sees her “she’s plowed.” According to Adsit, the character of Baymax is thus “all Genesis.”

For her part, Rodriguez much more earnestly expressed her joy for the project.

“We just saw the movie two days ago,” Rodriguez said. “It was so surreal. Seeing the Disney logo made me tear up.”

Meanwhile, the third clip showed Baymax tearing it up with the revelation of his new green armor. Apparently, there is a prototype stage of Baymax the warrior, and we see Hiro making Baymax battle ready by uploading through a computer a comprehensive knowledge of karate. Keanu Reeves would be pleased.

The fourth clip then shows what happens when they go out into the night to be vigilantes as the mysterious super-villain of the movie chases Hiro, Baymax, and the rest of the gang who have piled into Wasabi’s smart car. He also humorously obeys the rules of the road, such as using blinkers and stopping for red lights, while he is being chased by a super-villain down the streets of San Fransokyo.

The clip ends with Go Go taking the steering wheel from Wasabi as the villain tosses a car straight at them.

The Big Hero 6 portion of the panel concluded with moderator Chris Hardwick and the fans being critiqued by Baymax, who appeared on the video screens. He, and the cast, only vanished once the fans shouted, “I am satisfied with my care.”

Why do I see a new catchphrase in the works?
