Yes, you read that right. 2001: A Space Odyssey has a new, gorgeous trailer!
Stanley Kubrick's epic journey to the stars is getting cinematic re-release in the UK on Nov. 28 as part of the British Film Institute’s "Sci-Fi: Days of Fears and Wonder" season.
Jan Harlan, Kubrick’s executive producer, lauded the clip as “the best trailer for this film I have ever seen! To use Hal’s voice is brilliant."

Besides the limited cinematic release, 2001: A Space Odyssey stars Keir Dullea and Gary Lockwood will join a panel at the BFI Southbank in London on Nov. 28.
Other films part of the event include titles such as Barbarella, Brazil, A Clockwork Orange, and 1984.
