The first trailer for Joss Whedon's Avengers: Age Of Ultron, that landed earlier in the week, gave us the first proper look at the character of Ultron himself.
James Spader is taking the role on for Marvel, and he's been chatting about to Total Film. "There's a humorous aspect to him," he told the magazine, adding that "in many ways he's a child, this character, because he's a brand new being who's just come to be."
A very powerful being though, and Spader has cautioned that his character proves quite a challenge for the assorted Avengers. "Ultron takes abrupt turns in scenes. Red [Reddington, Spader's Blacklistcharacter] isn't psychopathic but Ultra is. Yes, he is psychopathic. He's really batshit crazy."
