Marvel are revealing their plans for Phase Three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Den of Geek is on the scene!
Den of Geek has Don Kaye on the floor of the mysterious Marvel Studios press conference, where they announced the first details of their next wave of superhero movies, stretching all the way to 2019. Check out the details here:
After a fake out revealing the title of Captain America 3 as...Captain America: Serpent Society. they told everyone what we already knew, it's Captain America: Civil War coming on May 6th, 2016. It seems that much of the plan hinged on Civil War, and Kevin Feige said that was the reason that this wasn't announced at the (disappointing) panel at the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con.
Black Panther will be introduced in Captain America: Civil War, played by Chadwick Boseman. The BlackPanthermovie will arrive on November 3rd, 2017. Expect Black Panther teases in Avengers: Age of Ultron, so we presume that means that shot of Andy Serkis in the trailer means he really is playing Klaw.
Doctor Strange release date is set for November 4th, 2016. Still no official confirmation on the casting of Benedict Cumberbatch, but that seems like a lock.
Guardians of the Galaxy 2new release date is May 5th, 2017.
Thor: Ragnarok coming July 28th, 2017.
Black Panther announced for November 3rd, 2017.
Captain Marvel announced for July 6th, 2018. And don't worry, folks...it's Carol Danvers! They cautioned that Marvel will likely have a writer and director in place before a star.
Inhumanscoming November 2nd, 2018. Kevin Feige says that you should expect Inhumans easter eggs to start popping up soon. We expect that he means on Agents of SHIELD, but that's just us...
Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 - May 4th, 2018, with Avengers: Infinity War Part 2 to follow on May 3rd, 2019. No word on the directors, so we'll have to stick with those Russo Brothers rumors for the moment.
Marvel wouldn't get into the tantalizing possibility of Spider-Man returning to the fold, saying that it's "rumor for now." That's cryptic.
