We know that Johnny Depp will be back for Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. But who will be joining him?
On July 7th 2017, the fifth Pirates Of The Caribbean movie, currently going by the title of Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, will be sailing into cinemas. Johnny Depp will be reprising the role of Captain Jack Sparrow in the movie, and it's already been confirmed that Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg will be directing.
What hasn't been confirmed is what newcomers will be co-starring alongside Depp, and Deadlinereports that there's quite a line-up for a new young male lead role in the film.
The casting shortlist is said to include Taron Egerton (soon to be seen in Matthew Vaughn's film of Kingsman: The Secret Service), George Mackay (last seen in Pride), Brendon Thwaites (Maleficent), Mitchell Hope (from the TV movie Descendants), Sam Keeley (In The Heart Of The Sea), and Ansel Elgort, who scored a sizeable box office hit with The Fault In Our Stars earlier this year.
Production on the movie is set to begin early next year in Australia, and casting on the project continues. More on Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales as we hear it...
