Elizabeth Banks steps up to direct Pitch Perfect 2. Here's the trailer.
Now primed to be one of Universal's big summer releases, Pitch Perfect 2 lands on May 15th 2015. It reunites the core cast of the first film, so that's Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson and Elizabeth Banks for a start. Hailee Steinfeld leads the new additions.
Furthermore there's a new director: Elizabeth Banks isn't just starring, she's stepping behind the camera to make her full length feature directorial debut with this one.
The first trailer for the new movie has just landed. The original continues to play, and continues to be a big seller for Universal on DVD and Blu-ray. It'll be looking for the cinema takings to match the home formats success this time around.
