Andrew Scott and Monica Bellucci are the latest names linked with James Bond 24. The title and full cast details are coming tomorrow...
Sony Pictures and Eon Productions will be formally announceing the 24th James Bond film this coming Thursday. The studio will be revealing the title of the new film, as well as revealing just who's going to be in the cast this time around. We're putting our cash on Daniel Craig. Arf.
The studio will be live streaming the event, which is taking place to mark the beginning of principal photography on James Bond 24. The new Bond adventure starts shooting next Monday, the 8th December. We would expect the release date to be clarified too: there had been some confusion as to whether the film would still hit its original planned October 2015 target.
Naturally enough, the rumour mill has been hard at work suggesting names who may be revealed on Thursday. The Mirror, for one, is convinced that Sherlock's Andrew Scott - who we saw on the big screen earlier this year in the wonderful Pride- is set to appear as a villain in the new James Bond flick. It quotes an insider as saying he was "hand picked for the role."
Meanwhile, Deadlinereckons there's a part for Monica Bellucci in there somewhere, but no role has been mentioned thus far.
The names we already know are on board? Aside from Daniel Craig, there's Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Lea Seydoux, Dave Bautista, and Christoph Waltz. Sam Mendes is back to direct, after his work on Skyfall.
We'll find out more on Thursday...
