Al Pacino in a Marvel movie? Agents of SHIELD and Avengers: Age of Ultron? Amazing! Astonishing!
In a piece of news that surprises absolutely nobody, Entertainment Weekly have the "exclusive" news that Agents of SHIELD will tie in to Avengers: Age of Ultron. That's some fine reporting there, EW! That must have taken some digging...
But seriously, Agents of SHIELD executive producer Jed Whedon said that "you should expect something." To be fair, Maurissa Tancharoen points out that "I don't think any movie has the potential to impact us in the way that Captain America 2 did." Well, yes. That movie required the show's actual story to be put on hold until the final third of the season.
Also, Al Pacino claims that he has met with Kevin Feige about a role in a Marvel movie. That news comes from the Happy Sad Confusedpodcast. I never thought I'd see Michael Douglas or Robert Redford in a Marvel movie, either, so there's plenty of room for Al Pacino.
Also, Guardians of the Galaxy is out on Blu-ray today. We have all the details on those special features right here.
