Check out the latest poster for Marvel's Ant-Man....assuming of course you have a magnifying glass or are the size of an insect...

Marvel Studios has certainly gotten cheeky in their marketing these days. And why shouldn’t they? Their last film was the biggest film of 2014 in the U.S., and one of the only two films that will cross $300 million domestic. And that movie, Guardians of the Galaxy, was sold as a talking raccoon firing a machine gun and “You’re Welcome.”

Ant-Man appears to have that beat since the world’s tiniest trailer preview has now been out-giggled by the smallest poster imaginable. This is in anticipation for the actual Ant-Man trailer, which is to air tonight during the two-hour series premiere of Marvel’s Agent Carter on ABC. So feast your eyes (with a magnifying glass) on the movie art below featuring a microscopic Paul Rudd. To paraphrase Derek Zoolander, “What is this, a poster for ants?”

Also be sure to check out the corresponding EW cover below, which seems to possibly be the poster made right for humans.

Ant-Man follows the adventures of Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) who carries on in the footsteps of his mentor and the original Ant-Man, scientist Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas). Using technology that allows Scott to both shrink and grow to fantastic and unimaginable sizes, Scott must give up his early life grifting and con man ways in order to help Dr. Pym and his lovely daughter Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) combat the forces of evil.

The Ant-Man movie has infamously had a long production life at Marvel Studios where it first was being hatched by comedy-action auteur Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz). Wright was writing and directing the film up until last year when he and Marvel abruptly parted ways. The film is now being helmed by Peyton Reed (Bring It On, Down with Love) and has multiple names attached to the current screenplay including Joe Cornish and Adam McKay.

Ant-Man will be in theaters on July 17, 2015.
