Ryan Reynolds is finally going to get some company in the Deadpool movie cast.
NewsTJ Miller (of HBO's Silicon Valley fame) and Ed Skrein (Game of Thrones and the upcoming The Transporter Legacy) are getting ready to join the cast of the Deadpool movie at 20th Century Fox. No other details are currently available, although The Wrap reports that negotiations with Mr. Skrein "are further along" than those with Mr. Miller.
No word on which characters they might be playing, although early reports indicate that Skrein might be the villain of the movie. There were so many C-list X-Men characters and mutants peppered throughout Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick's earlier drafts of Deadpoolthat they could be anybody. As of now, the only other official information out there is that Ryan Reynolds will star as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, Reese and Wernick are still writing, and Tim Miller is directing. The Deadpoolmovie will be released on February 12th, 2016...just in time for Valentine's Day. How romantic.
