Nicole Kidman Says Jimmy Fallon Blew His Chance, We Shed Single Tear

It’s tough to say your heart breaks for a man who is poised to be one late night television’s all time greats -- a man with millions of dollars, 19 million Twitter followers (a boy can dream!) and a loving wife and two children.

But Jimmy Fallon, man, I feel for you brother.

This week Nicole Kidman, no not the other Nicole Kidman, I’m talking the drop-dead gorgeous Australian actress, was a guest on The Tonight Show and she recalled the first time she met Mr. Fallon. Oblivious to the context of the meeting, Fallon apparently missed his “shot” at dating the film star during his Saturday Night Live days.

Fallon promptly collapses on the floor in shock. I’d have a similar reaction.

All is good now, as Fallon is a huge star in his own right, and Kidman is happily married to Keith Urban. Still, telling surely one of the most embarrassing stories of your life in the first two minutes of an interview means you have to stick out the next seven. Fun, awkwardness ensues….
