Leslie Jones reveals a new image from Saturday Night Live's 40th anniversary of herself and the rest of the Ghostbusters...
NewsIt’s been a major week for comedy as Saturday Night Live turned 40. There were Bass-o-Matics, Land Sharks, and a particularly rowdy “Sean Connery.” But it also featured many Ghostbusters under one roof—and I do not just mean the very present Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray. Rather, the main cast of Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters reboot was there too. So luckily, Leslie Jones, a Ghostbusters co-star and current Not Ready for Prime Time Player, was there to tweet the picture.
In the below top left image, see (From left right) Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon all looking ready to say they ain’t afraid of no ghost.
With any luck, there might be one with Aykroyd and Murray joining them from the SNL family reunion…
Ghostbusters is a remake of the 1984 classic that reimagines the story for modern day. When an all-female group of paranormal investigators secretly join forces at the government’s behest to battle the nastiest and grossest ghosts of the greater New York Metropolitan Area, they will become the Ghostbusters just in time to stop a returned serial killing specter. Paul Feig (Bridesmaids) is directing the picture and co-writing it with his The Heat collaborator, Katie Dippold.
Ghostbusters haunts movie theaters on July 22, 2016.
