TrailerI never expected to see Simon Pegg to play a hotheaded hitman. However, I have also never given much thought to Simon Pegg in the role of a hitman. Yet, judging by the new read band trailer for Magnet’s Kill Me Three Times, it makes a certain kind of perfect bloody sense. It remains to be seen if the rest of the movie will work so effortlessly, but the slick dayglow style of the trailer appears off to a good start.
In Kill Me Three Times, Pegg is Charlie Wolfe, a mercurial assassin that is brought in to kill a prominent wife (Alice Braga) in a small town. Wolfe soon learns that he isn't the only one who has it in for the target, and he is actually an oblivious cog in a three-way tale of blackmail, revenge, and murder, which also includes Sullivan Stapleton (300: Rise of an Empire), Teresa Palmer (Warm Bodies), and Luke Hemsworth (The Anomaly).
Kill Me Three Times will be available on iTunes and VOD on March 26, 2015 and will be in theaters on April 10, 2015.
