NewsParents, get ready for a new ear worm that will probably still be looping in your cars by the dog days of summer: “Frozen Fever” has its first trailer, as well as the reveal that there is an all new original song from Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez. Yes, the team that wrote the Oscar winning ditty “Let It Go.”
While not exactly a sequel to the 2013 phenomenon Frozen, a film we think still is having a positive effect due to its stunning success, this feels like certainly a testing ground for the all but inevitable Frozen 2. “Frozen Fever” also promises to make Cinderella a must-see Disney experience for millions of families around the world.
“Frozen Fever”is a short film that will herald the much awaited return of Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Sven, and Kristoff. In the film, Elsa and Kristoff decide to throw the biggest surprise birthday in Anna’s honor that Arendelle has ever seen. Why do we suspect that even if Anna appears to be a summer child that there will still be plenty of cool icing on the cake?
