Check out a much nicer poster for Avengers: Age of Ultron featuring Iron Man...and try and figure out what RDJ is teasing.
NewsY'know what I hate? Character posters. When we're trying to do comprehensive coverage of stuff we like, character posters just take up a ton of time, and really, there often isn't much to them. I suspect that Robert Downey Jr. feels the same way, because when he revealed today's Iron Man spotlighting Avengers: Age of Ultron poster, he gave us a tease of something big.
The good news is, this is infinitely better than that hot mess Marvel unveiled yesterday, so you can enjoy this a little more.
You've been good so here's a new #IronMan poster from @Avengers. & on the DL, big announcement in 8 days… #getexcitedpic.twitter.com/AdB1tTib7K

So what's that big announcement gonna be? If I can count (I'm a writer, so I'm not sure I can), 8 days is March 5th. Another trailer? Our first official look at the Vision? Iron Man 4? Spider-Man casting? It coincides roughly with when production on Captain America: Civil Waris going to start, so it could be anything.
Or it could just be another poster, in which case, I quit.
I'll probably just keep updating this post with more character posters as they get revealed, because really, who's got time for 7 more news articles about freakin' character posters, right? Not me, that's for sure. Probably not you, either.
Avengers: Age of Ultron is out on May 1st. You knew that already.
