Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F isn't only releasing in Japan. We'll get Frieza in North America, too!
NewsIn case you haven't heard, Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F is the first theatrical release for the franchise in 17 years, and it will see the return of one the series' most iconic villains, the very evil Frieza. Did we mention he has a new form this time around? It actually looks kind of weird.
Although the film was originally only releasing in Japan, Funimation Entertainment announced at SXSW that the movie will hit North American theatres this Summer! Funimation, 20th Century Fox, and Toei Animation to are partnering up for the film’s world premiere (in Japanese with English subtitles) April 11 at the Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles. A limited number of tickets are available on the official website.
Here's the official synopsis of the film:
"An Earth where peace has arrived. However, remnants of Frieza’s army Sorbet and Tagoma arrive on the planet. Their goal is to revive Frieza with the dragon balls. Their dastardly wish is granted, the “F” that plans its revenge against the Saiyans is revived…!"
