The Rogue Cut of Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days Of Future Past will add 11 minutes and 11 seconds...
As promised, it looks like the extended cut of Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days Of Future Past will be arriving with us this year. We're guessing it will be well before the release of X-Men: Apocalypse in cinemas next May, if not much sooner (sorry about the confusion).
The BBFC has classified the 'Rogue' cut of X-Men: Days Of Future Past - so called because it brings in the scenes containing Anna Paquin's Rogue that were cut from the cinematic release - and has awarded it a 12 certificate.
More to the point, though, the BBFC has revealed in doing so that the extended cut of the film will run to 142 minutes and 37 seconds. The original cut of X-Men: Days Of Future Past ran to 131 minutes and 26 seconds. We can do that kind of maths off the top of our head, so we can confirm that the Rogue Cut will be.... hang on a minute.... 11 minutes and 11 seconds longer.
Now we just wait to see when we can actually watch the longer version of the film. The BBFC has classified the movie for DVD/Blu-ray/digital release, but we can't see it available for pre-order anywhere so far. We'll keep you posted, though...
