Jason Momoa could be the next star to join Magnificent Seven

Already set to do good as Aquaman, Jason Momoa is being targeted to play one of the baddies in the absolutely loaded Magnificent Sevenremake.

The Hollywood Reporter noted that nothing is official yet, but Momoa is in negotiations to join Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D’Onofrio, Wagner Moura and Haley Bennett in the western. We can only hope Momoa has good agents. They’ll need to work out enough space to fit his name on the movie poster.

Besides having a well-known cast, the script was written byTrue Detective scribe Nic Pizzolatto and John Lee Hancock (Saving Mr. Banks, The Blindside). Antoine Fuqua (Tears of the Sun, King Arthur) is directing.

Momoa’s career has exploded since landing roles in Stargate: Atlantis, Game of Thrones and SundanceTV’s The Red Road. He’ll at least make an appearance as Aquaman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and will be a major part of The Justice League as well as an Aquaman standalone film.
