Edgar Wright's Baby Driver adds Lily James to cast

Edgar Wright's next film is set to be Baby Driver, which already has The Fault in Our Stars' Ansel Elgort on board in the lead role. Elgort will star as a getaway driver, one who relies on music soundtrack that he believes to be peerless.

THR has dug up just a little bit more detail on Elgort's character in the film, saying that he "is set to star as a young mute man who has an ear condition that forces him to constantly listen to music in order to drown out the constant ringing in his ears. His character is a driver for a group of bank robbers who goes on the run after a heist goes bad."

The cast has grown now too, with the news that Lily James - currently riding high off the back of her lead role in Kenneth Branagh's Cinderella - is joining the film. She'll be playing a diner waitress, who's also a romantic interest for Elgort. Going by previous Edgar Wright films though, we'd argue there's a whole lot more to her character than that.
