Michael Fassbender has been working non-stop over the last year, and he won’t get a rest anytime soon, with the actor slated to appear at the Cannes Film Festival next week for the premiere of his Macbeth film. Speaking to Varietyin anticipation of the fest, Fassbender dropped little tidbits about his many upcoming projects.

First off, there’s X-Men news. Fassbender says that X-Men: Apocalypse is the next film that he’ll shoot, but after Apocalypseis wrapped, his three-picture contract will be complete. Fear not, true believers, because Fassbender seems game for plenty more, saying that, “I will shoot a hundred of them,” and that he’s “curious to see what happens next.”

Variety then asks the actor if he’s going to appear in Prometheus 2, but Fassbender says he’s not entirely sure, and only that “the mighty Internet has told me it’s happening.”

Fassbender also reveals that he hasn’t seen Justin Kurzel’s adaptation of Macbeth in which he plays the starring role, but enjoyed the challenge of performing Shakespeare, and also that he sees his interpretation of Steve Jobs in Danny Boyle’s biopic as “favorable.”

Lastly, the actor discloses that now that he has his own production company, he’d really like to direct, but doesn’t know when he’ll have the time.

Michael Fassbender can next be seen in the indie western Slow West, which hits theaters Friday, May 15.
