Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman obviously want you to take a long, deep look at the poster for the upcoming Lovelace.
Named after the porn star of the same surname, Lovelace stars Amanda Seyfried as the titular Linda and her claim to “fame” as the lead in the first scripted, feature length theatrical pornographic film. The movie looks to explore her rise in 1970s notoriety and (surprise, surprise) the darker side of shooting porn.
The film also stars Peter Sarsgaard, Sharon Stone, Juno Temple, Wes Bently, Hank Azaria, Bobby Carnavale, Robert Patrick and James Franco. Of course, James Franco.
Lovelace opens wide on August 9.
