Summit Entertainment’s RED 2 gets cheeky with topical humor in a new TV spot.
The ad begins by informing us that they may have once been government agents, but RED 2’s heroic spooks don’t have time to read our emails or listen in to our phone calls. They’re too busy saving the world. Cue AC/DC and a cast of smiling older bad asses.
The TV spot promises more of the same if you liked the first one, but who didn’t? With a cast that includes Bruce Willis, Mary-Louise Parker, Dame Helen Mirren and Sir Anthony Hopkins beating up generic baddies, most know they’ll be drawn in.
The world saving and yucks commences on July 19.
