New Trailer for MTV's Scream: The TV Series

There’s a new trailer for MTV’s Scream: The TV Series. Though it features the familiar sights of a beautiful teen, alone, laying in wait for the bloodbath that’s to come, the series will feature some significant differences.

First off, there’s no Ghostface, the iconic killer’s mask that is featured in all four installments of the Scream film franchise. There’s also a new setting, as the TV series will take place in Lakewood instead of the familiar Woodsboro. That means that the Prescott murders and the events of the film series may not be relevant to the new television series.

In this new trailer, we’re treated to blink-and-you’ll-miss-it glimpses of the new mask, as well as peaks at several of the characters, like Nina (Disney’s Bella Throne), Emma (Willa Fitzgerald), Audrey (Bex Taylor-Klaus), bad-boy Kieran (Amadeus Serafini), and others.  Check out the new look at the Scream: The TV Series below.

Scream: The TV Series debuts June 30 on MTV.
