Nearly a year on from the main shoot, the final scenes of The Hunger Games movies are in the can...
NewsNo spoilers here.
Principal photography on The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 was pretty much completed last year, as the movie filmed alongside Part 1. However, one scene that director Francis Lawrence and his team couldn't capture back then was the epilogue. Seasonal shifts meant that the greenery was on its way out for winter, and thus they held off getting the last scenes of the movie series (at least until the reboot/remake/cinematic universe)
Until now. Lawrence reassembled the required cast of The Hunger Games in Atlanta over the weekend, and got the final shots they needed, to wrap up The Hunger Games adaptations. Here's a picture of them at work, from producer Nina Jacobson's Twitter account...

Lawrence now has a couple of months to assemble the final cut of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, ahead of its release in cinemas on November 20th, later this year. Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson are, of course, all returning for the final movie.
