Paramount Television has announced its first slate of television pilots in development, including TV versions of Narc and The Truman Show.
Paramount Studios has announced its first slate of television-developed pilots following the announcement of Paramount Television. And two of the new projects are based on popular films: namely Joe Carnahan’s Narc, for which Carnahan will be writing and directing the pilot, and a serialized version of 1998’s The Truman Show, which starred Jim Carrey. Paramount is also partnering with Skydance Television and Annapurna Pictures in developing a new Terminator TV Show.
Also, as reported in Deadline, Paramount Television is also developing an original drama series based on Caleb Carr’s novel The Alienist with True Detective’s Anonymous Content executive producing, as well as a limited series based on Charles Lindbergh’s life and A. Scott Berg’s Pulitzer Prize winning biography, Lindbergh.
