Naomi Watts Joins All Three Divergent Sequels

Naomi Watts has left Indieland to join in on some big Hollywood fun. The particuarly selective actress has signed on to portray Evelyn in the Divergent sequel, Insurgent.

As Evelyn, Watts will become the leader of the Factionless, a stern woman who plays a pivotal role in the series conclusion, Allegiant, which, in Hunger Games and Twilightfashion, is being split up into two films. Watts has signed on for all three and has joined the production immediately for Insurgent, which started shooting in Atlanta last week. She joins fellow new addition Octavia Spencer, and the returning cast of Shailene Woodley, Kate Winslet, and Miles Teller. 

Watts also recently was tapped to star in ecclectic director Gus Van Sant's next picture, Sea of Trees, opposite the highly in-demand Matthew McConaughey.
