Sony Pictures gives a tense look at their upcoming thriller No Good Deed!
They say no good deed goes unpunished, and it seems Academy Award nominee Taraji P. Henson is going to have to learn that the hard way.
Sony Pictures Entertainment has released the first trailer for their upcoming home invasion thriller No Good Deed. Henson stars as a former District Attorney turned stay-at home mom who is tricked into letting an imposing mysterious stranger use her telephone. Idris Elba stars at the stranger, and in the trailer, he is incredibly frieghtening. A voice-over in the trailer talks about how dangerous and homicidal Elba's character really is, and the ensuing footage proves it. We see Elba murder ruthlessly, intimidate woman, and even put children in danger. Elba has been becoming a bigger name in Hollywood turning up in heroic roles in Prometheus, Pacific Rim, and Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom, but this new turn as an extreme badie is surely going to catch the eye of many audiences.
Sam Miller, who worked with Elba on the BBC's Luther directs, and the film also features Kate del Castilo, Mark Smith, and Henry Simmons. No Good Deed stalks into theaters September 12th. Move to Sony Pictures' YouTube channel, or just head below for the full trailer.
