Dermot Mulroney has been cast in a lead role for next year's Insidious: Chapter 3!
It looks like Insidious: Chapter 3 is making sure to scare up some new talent. Dermot Mulroney (not to be confused with American Horror Story’s Dylan McDermott) has been cast in the newest installment of Focus Features’ hit goth-camp hybrid Insidious franchise.
As announced via Leigh Whannell’s Twitter handle (seen below), Dermot Mulroney has been cast as one of the leads in Insidious: Chapter 3.

We talked with Leigh Whannell at length about what Insidious 3 could be about when we interviewed him last year, and his answers did intrigue us. He had his eye on making a third movie, and it is now coming to fruition after the last film grossed $161 million worldwide. James Wan, who directed the previous two entries, meanwhile has moved on to the Fast and Furious franchise and is directing Fast & Furious 7 for an April 2015 release.
